Wonderful

The room and the bathroom was practical and clean. Excellent place near the ocean. As the hotel name says, the sunsent above the ocean is worth to experience. Breakfast simply excellent.

I woul appreciate more privacy on the balcony. View to the ocena was great, but the smell of smoking neighbors and french fies from the beach restaurant was disturbing the experience.

Excellent location, great view, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast.

All was good, Liked the indoor heated pool. I requested a higher floor and was given one the next day. Parking was free and that was a big plus.

Beautiful views of beach seconds to walk to beach. Staff was so friendly and accommodating.

The parking lot is good since most hotels don't have one but super hard to get out of as it's a one way system and very tight to turn around

We had a wonderful week here - an excellent base from which to explore a beautiful island

Perfect location with a beautiful view, large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean. A quiet neighborhood. Tasty breakfast but almost every day the same. You can order pancakes or an omelette with toppings. The hotel has a small gym, an indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a terrace on the top for sunbathing. Friendly and helpful staff. You could leave your car in the underground car-park for free. The evening with Madeira dances was very nice. There are bars and restaurants around the corner.

A kettle, cups and sachets in the room would be a great convenience. Also put spa robes and slippers for going to swimming pool in room.

Location. Comfortable bed. Size of room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice heated pool. We really like it here and it’s our third time of staying. Had free upgrade to room with a balcony having only booked sea view. Great swimming in the sea just across the road.

Some wait staff spend too much time chatting/doing little. Some long hairs (not ours) in bathroom. Noise from nearby club.

Great staff, excellent quality and superb Seaview.

Enotel, if you have not heard of them, is a well-established chain of hotels and resorts in Madeira. Enotel Sunset Bay is located right on the seafront at Ponta do Sol with restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The hotel consists of several 'buildings' or rather facades, so I was surprised when I walked in to see a huge lobby. There is also a heated indoor pool next to the reception. For an overnight stay on the 10. January, I was given a room with a great balcony overlooking the sea. The room has 2 huge beds, the decor, bathroom, cleanliness, and size all exceeded my expectations. The breakfast is excellent, and we are spoilt for choice. I especially recommend the receptionists who were very friendly and helpful with tips. After a 30km walk from Funchal - it made such a difference to have such friendly personnel and a nice hotel room!

Variety of the breakfast, the view from our balcony was great, the size of the room was great

The floor was not very clean, dust on the furniture. Playing on the pool table costs 6 EUR/ hour, it should be free.

Perfect for a few days to explore the western coastline

The location was perfect. Parking was easy unlike other places on Madeira. The room was fantastic and the breakfast amazing

Very Good

Location is amazing! Right at the beach, where you can admire beautiful sunset. Rooms are big and bathroom is decently clean. Breakfast has a good variety of choice, coffee is not drinkable (you can order better one from the bar, but costs extra)

Some receptionists seem a bit rude and not professional.

The view from room is amazing. Great variety of food on breakfast, spacious and clean room, good spa area with swimming pool and sauna. Free parking in tonnel.

It was hard to navigate to the hotel in ponta do sol using google maps. Use road signs not a navigation.
